Register and Search for People During Disasters

Disasters often make it difficult to stay in touch with loved ones. The American Red Cross Safe and Well website is a central location for people in disaster areas in the United States to register their current status, and for their loved ones to access that information. It helps provide displaced families with relief and comfort during a stressful time.

Social Security Account

If you have paid into Social Security and need proof of your monthly Social Security income, you can register for a My Social Security account. After an emergency, if you need to apply for assistance, you will need to show proof of your income from Social Security. Now is the time to sign up for this account.

Terrorism

If you see something say something! The Statewide Terrorism Tips Hotline was launched on September 16, 2002. It enables citizens from throughout the State to report information about suspected terrorist activity. The toll-free hotline can be reached by calling 1-866-SAFENYS or 1-866-723-3697.
