This program provides non-medical, in-home services to elderly person (60 years of age or older), who are not eligible for Medicaid, and have one or more disabling conditions which prevents them from performing activities of daily living. Services provided include case management, and may include homemaker/personal care, housekeeping/chore services, non-institutional respite for caregivers, and ancillary services. A sliding-scale fee (cost share) may be charged, based on income and household expenses.
The WHCOFA contracts with local agencies to provide these services, and there may be a waiting list. We currently have contracts with:
