February/March/April:
February 1st: Certification of offices to be filled at 2025 General Election by SBOE and CBOE
February 10th: Party Calls for State and County party chairs to file statement of party positions to be filled at Primary
February 14th: Party Change Deadline until post Primary Election Certification
February 20th: List of Registered Voters; Publication of February Enrollment
February 24th: First day to hold a caucus/First day to circulate DESIGNATING petitions
March 21st: First day to circulate OPPORTUNITY TO BALLOT petitions
March 30th: First day to file DESIGNATING petitions
April 2nd: Last day to circulate DESIGNATING petitions
April 6th: Last day to file DESIGNATING petitions
April 9th: Last day to file OPPORTUNITY TO BALLOT petitions
April 10th: Last day to authorize and accept or decline designations
April 14th: First day to circulate INDEPENDENT NOMINATING petitions
April 30th: Certification of Primary Ballot by CBOE

May/June/July/August
May 8th: Deadline for CBOE to transmit ballots to eligible Military/Uocava/Special Federal Voters for Primary
May 19th: First day to file an INDEPENDENT NOMINATING petition
May 26th: Last day to file an INDEPENDENT NOMINATING petition
May 29th: Last day to accept or decline a nomination
June 8th: Change of Address deadline for Primary Election
June 13th: Voter Registration and Absentee Application deadline for Primary Election
June 13th-21st: EARLY VOTING FOR PRIMARY ELECTION
June 16th: Last day for CBOE to receive Mil/SF/UOCAVA absentee application if already registered
June 22nd: Last day to apply in person for absentee ballot
June 23rd: PRIMARY ELECTION DAY-Last day to postmark absentee ballot
July 6th-13th: Canvass, Recanvass, Audit, and Certification due by CBOE for Primary Election
July 23rd: Last day to file Certificate of Nomination to fill a vacancy pursuant to NYS EL 6-116, -104, -158(6)
August 3rd: Deadline for vacancies to be filled in this years General Election and propositions on ballot are due 3 months ahead of the General Election
August 6th-12th: Judicial Convention

September/October/November
September 10th: Certification of General Election ballot by CBOE
