Warren County is inviting community members, airport users, regional stakeholders, and interested residents to attend the first public meeting focusing on the ongoing Airport Master Plan update for Warren County Airport, aka Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport (GFL). The meeting will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at SUNY Adirondack’s Northwest Bay Conference Center.
The Airport Master Plan Update is a comprehensive planning effort that will guide the airport’s development over the next 20 years. The plan evaluates existing facilities, forecasts future aviation demand, and identifies projects needed to support safety, reliability, economic growth, and community needs. Public participation is a key component of the process, ensuring the plan reflects local priorities and provides clear, transparent information about the airport’s future.
The June 4 meeting will include a presentation by the project team, informational display boards, and opportunities for attendees to ask questions and provide feedback. Community input gathered at this meeting will help shape the development of alternatives and recommendations in the next phase of the planning process.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend, learn about the planning process, and share their perspectives on the airport’s role in the region.
An additional public meeting is planned before completion of the plan update in 2027.

Warren County Airport is located on about 500 acres off Queensbury Avenue in the Town of Queensbury. It was built in 1941, and features two runways, numerous aircraft hangars and a tower. Rich Air serves as the fixed-base operator for the airport.
