Warren County Board of Elections staff to host event in Chestertown on Saturday, May 16

CHESTER, NY – The staff from Warren County Board of Elections is coming to Chestertown on Saturday, May 16 for a voter outreach event.

The June Primary Election is just weeks away, and with any election comes questions about voter registration, party affiliations, candidates, polling places and more. 

To help answer those questions, Warren County Board of Elections will hold a public information session May 16 at Town of Chester Public Library, which is located in the Chester Municipal Center, 6309 Route 9, Chester.

Warren County Board of Elections will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the library to answer election-related questions, and will have voter registration forms and vote-by-mail applications. They will also bring a voting machine for attendees to observe how they work, and to practice casting a ballot.

No registration is required for those who are interested in attending.

The 2026 Primary Election will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2026, and the deadline to register to be eligible to vote in the primary is June 13, 2026.
