Warren County Administrator John Taflan will be holding his first public “listening session” of 2026 on Thursday, May 7, 2026 in the town of Lake Luzerne.
The first "Conversation with the County" event of 2026 will be held at Lake Luzerne Senior Center, 529 Lake Avenue, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Residents and visitors alike are welcome to stop by to chat with Administrator Taflan about concerns, offer suggestions or discuss any county-related issue that is on their mind.
Administrator Taflan held three listening sessions in 2025, one each in Queensbury, Warrensburg and Chester, and several dozen people attended to talk about tourism, taxes, infrastructure and more. These events were recommended to improve communications between residents and county leaders as part of the Warren County Comprehensive Plan that was completed in 2024.
Administrator Taflan said: “Our listening sessions in 2025 drew dozens of county residents who had great questions that led to wide-ranging, productive discussions about county programs and issues. We want to build on that momentum and continue to offer folks these events so we are better able to listen to the people who we serve."
Additional "Conversation with County" events will be organized as schedules allow later in 2026.
