Warren County's broadband efforts featured in national report

Warren County was  among communities featured in a newly released report by the National Association of  looking at national issues in access to good, reliable broadband Internet service.

Warren County Administrator Ryan Moore was among the members of the 40-member committee, which brought county leaders and stakeholders together to look at the national infrastructure for broadband, mapping gaps and strong points.

The Warren County broadband survey, executed earlier this year with EDC Warren County, was featured as one of the ways counties are working to address the needs of their residents.

Among the recommendations was that broadband be regulated as a utility, verified data collection is imperative and eliminating the "digital divide" will require a host of resources and industries coming together.
