Responding well during a disaster or emergency requires training and preparation, and an upcoming free training session organized by Warren County Office of Emergency Services will provide Warren County residents with the information and supplies they need to properly respond to disasters like floods, fires and severe storms.

Registration is open for Warren County's next free training session through the New York Citizen Preparedness Corps Training Program:
The New York Citizen Preparedness Training Program will provide attendees the knowledge and tools to prepare for emergencies and disasters, respond accordingly, and recover as quickly as possible to pre-disaster conditions.
Participants will be advised on how to properly prepare for any disaster, including the development of a family emergency plan and how best to stock up on emergency supplies.
Each family that attends will receive a free emergency preparedness kit in a backpack, which will be ready to be used at a moment’s notice.
There is no charge to attend, but attendance is limited to 50 people and registration is required. To register, go to https://tinyurl.com/prepareWC2026.
Thank you to our partners with the Office of Gov. Kathy Hochul, the NY Department of Homeland Security and Warren County Sheriff's Office for making this training possible!
