Warren County Board of Supervisors meeting set for November 14 to discuss housing study
WARREN COUNTY, NY – A lack of housing continues to plague communities around the United States, including Warren County.
In an effort to determine where Warren County stands in terms of housing, the Warren County Board of Supervisors recently commissioned a study to delve into the local housing market and examine local needs.
The results of this study will be shared with the Board of Supervisors Economic Growth & Development Committee during a public meeting on Tuesday, November 14.
The consultant hired for the project, Novogradac & Company LLC, interviewed dozens of stakeholders, reviewed volumes of documents and compiled a 67-page report that looks at the local housing stock, and the factors that affect it.
The meeting is open to the public, and will begin at 11:30 a.m. It will also be livestreamed and videoarchived on the county’s YouTube page here.
In addition, the report has been made available online here on the Warren County Department of Planning & Community Development website.
