Warren County is inviting community members, airport users, regional stakeholders, and interested residents to attend the first Public Meeting focusing on the Warren County Airport, aka Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport (GFL) Airport Master Plan Update, which is underway now. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at SUNY Adirondack’s Northwest Bay Conference Center.

The Airport Master Plan Update is a comprehensive planning effort that will guide the airport’s development over the next 20 years. The plan evaluates existing facilities, forecasts future aviation demand, and identifies projects needed to support safety, reliability, economic growth, and community needs. Public participation is a key component of the process, ensuring the plan reflects local priorities and provides clear, transparent information about the airport’s future.

The June 4 meeting will include a presentation by the project team, informational display boards, and opportunities for attendees to ask questions and provide feedback. Community input gathered at this meeting will help shape the development of alternatives and recommendations in the next phase of the planning process.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend, learn about the planning process, and share their perspectives on the airport’s role in the region.

An additional public meeting is planned before completion of the plan update in 2027.
