The annual "Spring Zing" event at Warren County Fish Hatchery is a rite of spring, and the 2025 incarnation did not disappoint! The weather cooperated and rain disappeared just in time for folks young and old to gather for fishing, food and fun, with lots of prizes for kids thanks to our generous sponsors. And some beautiful brook trout and rainbow trout were landed by youngsters from the stocked pond!
Representatives from Up Yonda Farm, Lake George Association, the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, Trout Unlimited, Warren County Conservation Council and Warren County Sheriff's Office were on hand to add an educational angle to the day.
