Warren County, CSEA reach agreement on salary adjustments
The Warren County Board of Supervisors voted Friday to increase hourly wages for Warren County employees who are members of Civil Service Employees Association Unit 9000 in an effort to counter inflation and help the county fill vacant positions.
The figure of an additional $2.75 an hour was agreed upon by negotiating teams from Warren County and the CSEA, and ratified Monday, July 11 by members of the CSEA. The wage increases will take effect August 1st.
Rapidly changing labor and inflation landscapes in our region and across much of the country necessitated wage adjustments to help Warren County ensure its employees were adequately compensated, and for the county to remain competitive in the labor market.
At a June Board of Supervisors meeting, members of Unit 9000 had requested the Warren County Board of Supervisors raise wages
Said Kevin Geraghty, Warren County Board of Supervisors Chairman: “We are pleased that we were able to reach this agreement with the CSEA membership as we work to ensure our county agencies have the workforce they need to carry out their duties. We want the CSEA membership to know we listened to them, and took action promptly,”

CSEA Unit 9000, which had agreed to a three-year labor contract in May 2021 that included annual raises, represents 237 of 756 Warren County full- and part-time employees.
