Warren County Department of Public Works Superintendent Kevin Hajos has announced the DPW's 2026 schedule of road paving and road construction projects, which will include at least 11 projects across the county along with two culvert replacements.
- County Route 28/Corinth Road -- Town of Queensbury
- County Route 7/Bay Road -- Town of Queensbury
- County Route 10/Horicon Avenue -- Town of Bolton
- County Route 4/Athol Road -- Town of Thurman
- County Route 4/Mountain Road -- Town of Thurman
- County Route 46/Atateka Drive -- Town of Chester
- County Route 46/Potter Brook Road -- Town of Chester
- County Route 53/East Schroon River Road -- Town of Warrensburg
- County Route 55/Valentine Pond Road -- Town of Horicon
- County Route 62/Glendale Road -- Town of Chester
These projects include a variety of work, from milling old payment and repaving to significant reconstruction. They amount to a $5,264,000 investment in Warren County infrastructure. Construction is anticipated to begin this Spring.
In addition, culvert replacement in 2026 are scheduled on County Route 7/Bay Road near Lockhart Mountain Road in Queensbury and County Route 19/Olmstedville Road near David Road in Chester.
