HOME IMPROVEMENT
The HOME program was made available to Warren County through a grant from the New York State Housing Trust Fund Corporation.
Warren County's Office of Community Development will provide grants to eligible homeowners who need funds to make health and safety repairs to their homes.
Grant funds are available to eligible homeowners who reside in the Towns of Thurman, Warrensburg, Johnsburg and Lake Luzerne.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
100% Grants are available for home repairs if you reside in the eligible area and your total household income is at or less than the income limits in the following table:

Priority status will be given to those 65 years of age or older. These limits include all sources of income for each member of the household in accordance with HUD criteria. All homes assisted must have been occupied by the same family for at least six months prior to assistance being provided.
It is extremely important that all income from all individuals and family members be disclosed. Failure to do so may result in sever penalties.
